Little Falls Woman Reappointed To State Panel

    Wilcox has a child with a handicapping condition and has been a parent advocate for developmentally disabled individuals.

    "Shirley Wilcox is a valuable member of the board of visitors," Seward said. "I commend the governor on his nomination and wish her well as she continues to serve."

    The panel reviews the operations of the center and works with the director to make recommendations concerning its programs and policies.
 
    The term expires in 2011.

    The position carries no compensation.
