Senator Flanagan Announces Funding For Area Groups

John J. Flanagan

As part of the recently adopted New York State budget, Senator John J. Flanagan (2nd Senate District) was able to secure funding for dozens of community groups and other worthy projects throughout the Second Senate District. This funding, which is targeted for specific projects, will allow these groups to provide services to many residents.

"Providing critical resources for the groups that deliver services to our community is very important to ensuring that they are able to achieve their important mission. This funding will assist these worthwhile groups in helping many people and that is a positive for everyone," stated Senator Flanagan. "The sad reality is that without this funding, many of these organizations would be unable to operate and that would create a void in needed resources for people in our community."
