Serrano Cuts Ribbon At Mnn Studio

Senator Serrano joined other community leaders to celebrate the 15th anniversary celebration of the Manhattan Neighborhood Network (MNN) at a street festival in East Harlem .

The festival served as a ground-breaking for MNN’s new Uptown Community & Youth Media Center in the historic 104th Street Firehouse, on the same block as the Senator’s District Office.

“This is a tremendous opportunity to empower our youth through media,” said Serrano. “MNN will provide East Harlem youth with the tools needed to improve their community, and succeed in the globalized world.”

The Senator and his staff remained for the duration of the event, passing out important literature, engaging with local residents and enjoying the live entertainment.
