Serrano Participates In East Harlem Tree Lighting

Senator Serrano celebrated the fourth annual East Harlem holiday tree lighting ceremony on Monday evening.

"This event has grown more popular with each passing year," said the Senator. "I am thrilled to be part of this East Harlem tradition. It is just one more way that we demonstrate the strength and unity of our neighborhood."

The tree lighting was sponsored by the East Harlem Board of Tourism, and held in the heart of East Harlem's "cultural corridor" on East 106 th Street / Julia de Burgos Blvd. and Third Avenue.
