Free Mammogram For Women Of The 21st District

Doing his part to promote healthy living, State Senator Kevin hosted a day of free mammograms at his district office located in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn. With the aid of the health mobile bus unit, more than 20 women were facilitated in taking the test that can save lives with the early detection of breast cancer. Women over the age of 40 who have not had a mammogram in the past year were encouraged to take advantage of this excellent opportunity by making appointments and taking the test.

The event, which came for high praise from the women in the community was hosted in conjunction with Outreach For Breast Health Foundation and Brooklyn Healthy Women Partnership.
