Golden To Host Special Harry Potter Book Release Event
Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C, Brooklyn) today announced a special block party in honor of the release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" at a press conference held at The Bookmark Shoppe located at 8415 Third Avenue in Brooklyn.
Senator Golden was joined by area merchants, event sponsors and costumed fans at the announcement. The Harry Potter Midnight Bash is scheduled for July 20th. The event will begin at 8:00 p.m. on July 20th and will end at 11:30, the perfect time to start lining up to collect your copy of the 7th and final book of the Harry Potter Series: "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." The event will be filled with midsummer fun including face painters, magicians, contests, music, and rides.
Senator Marty Golden stated, "For the next few days, you will continue to wonder what exactly the Deathly Hallows are or where are the remaining horcruxes and the greatest question of all, will Harry finally destroy the Dark Lord and live to tell about it? Gryffindor or Slytherin Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, children or adults, wizards or muggles- there is fun for everyone so come out and share in this special book release party right here in our community."
