Senate Aging Committee Chairman Marty Golden To Host Senior Fair

Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C, 22nd District), Chairman of the New York State Senate Aging Committee, will be hosting his 5th Annual senior fair to offer local seniors and their families an opportunity to learn of the services available to assist them with their property taxes, their prescription drug coverage, their personal safety, and their health.

The event will be held on Friday, June 15, 2007, 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Youth Center of Most Precious Blood located at Harway Avenue and Bay 47th Street. For more information, please contact (718) 238-6044 or (718) 627-3659.

The senior fair will feature information and assistance offered by various City agencies including: the New York City Department for the Aging, the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, the Department of Sanitation, the New York City Department of Health, the New York City Police Department and the EPIC Program among other agencies.

Free blood pressure screenings will also be available and lunch will be served.
