Senator Golden To Host 2007 Halloween Treat For Community

Brooklyn- State Senator Marty Golden, with the Bay Ridge Bensonhurst Parks Task Force, CERT1NYC, and the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation, will host a special Halloween celebration, "The 2007 Haunted Halloween Walk and Fair", on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 from 3:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Owl’s Head Park located at 68th Street and Colonial Road.

This 12th annual event will feature: The Haunted Walk, the Renaissance Fair, the Fairytale Forest, the Trick-or-Treat Trail, a pumpkin patch, costume contests, a magic show, pony rides, wagon rides, face painting, and much more. The Haunted Walk will be open from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and again from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The costume contest will begin at 6:00 p.m. Food, beverages and snacks can be purchased at Dracula’s Food Court.

"This is a great event that has drawn thousands of people in the past" said Senator Golden, "I always look forward to hosting this special day full of fun, ghosts, goblins, tricks and treats.
