Senator Golden To Host An Evening Of Dance

Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden, the Chairman of the Senate Aging Committee, (R-C, Brooklyn) today is announcing an evening of dance for local senior citizens to be held in the community on Thursday, September 20, 2007.

Senator Marty Golden will present a ballet performance by the Metropolitan Repertory Company at the Shore Hill Community Room, located at 9000 Shore Road, at 6:30 p.m. Immediately following the performance, at 7:15 p.m., Senator Golden will present his last in the season’s "Dancing Under the Stars" at the Shore Road Gardens, located at 90th Street and Shore Road.

Senator Golden stated, "An evening of entertainment, dance, music, and fun will be had by all so bring your dancing shoes. That’s what makes a strong and vibrant community, events where we celebrate and recognize that in fact we truly live in a unique neighborhood. So come out, join your neighbors, bring your friends and family, and let’s enjoy the last of the summer evenings."
