Antoine M. Thompson, Nys Senator, 60th District To Present $25,000.00 Check To City Of Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls-Senator Antoine M. Thompson will present a check in the amount of $25,000.00 to the City of Niagara Falls for the 2nd Entrepreneur School that will provide training for participates who either have a business, or are anticipating starting one.
The first class began in January 2008 and ran through April 2008. There was a total of 25 participates of which 18 completed the 12-week course.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for minority and women owned businesses to learn the skills necessary to run a successful business and to take advantage of the Minority Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) Grant/Loan program,” said Senator Thompson. He continued by saying “ the first program was so successful and I was so impressed is why I am presenting the City of Niagara Falls with a check in the amount of $25,000.00 to be used for start up funds for the second program that is scheduled to begin in the near future.
The Senator will present the check to Mayor Paul Dyster and they will be joined by members of the City Council, representative from various banks and members of the first graduating class.
