Antoine M. Thompson, NYS Senator, 60th District will host a Community Leaders & Stakeholders Breakfast Meeting on Grand Island to discuss area residents concerns and to give updates of current events.
Michael Johnson from the Office of NYS Comptroller will be on hand to give residents the opportunity to sit down with him to see if the state owes them any money. “We have invited Michael to other breakfast meetings and you would be surprised at the number of people who were owed money,” said Thompson.
Additional guest include Mr. Allen Taylor of the NYS Department of Transportation, Mark Thomas from NYS Parks and Thomas Pericak from the NYS Thruway Authority.
In January, six outstanding people living in the 60th District where the recipient of the 2008 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Social Justice Award. Roger Cook, a Grand Island resident and Executive Director of WYNCOSH was one of the six but unable to attend the event. Roger will be honored at the breakfast on Saturday.
