New York State Senator Eric Adams (D, Brooklyn) will hold a press conference with several local sports coaches to respond to recent reports of steroid use among police officers, athletes, and celebrities.  Senator Adams will announce his introduction of legislation that would make the possession or sale of illegal steroids subject to the same penalties associated with cocaine and other dangerous narcotics.
