Senator Farley Honors Tecler Students For Environmental Projects

State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C - Schenectady) greeted Kayla Bogdan, Gabriella Dybas and Dillion Power of Tecler Elementary School on May 20th when the students came to Albany as part of the Statewide I*MA*GREEN*NATION ceremony. The Senate-sponsored competition is open to students in grades one through eight and encourages youngsters to take an interest in their environment and to use their imagination and creativity to identify challenges that face their community and offer their own insights on possible solutions.

Dillion Power received a third place award in the Division II - Grade 4 & 5 - Literature competition. He and his fellow Tecler students competed against hundreds of students from across New York State.
