Senator Farley Salutes Edinburg Common School
Edinburg Common School District held a celebration on January 4th for the 20th anniversary of its Johnson Road School. State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C - Schenectady) sent a Citation to the school and commented on the wonderful event.
"As a former teacher, I am proud of the Edinburg Common School District and all that the school, and its students, have accomplished. It's hard to believe that 20 years have already gone by quickly since the district moved its facility from Sinclair Road to the new school on Johnson Road in 1988. While Edinburg is one of only 10 remaining Common School Districts in New York State, it is certainly one of the finest educational facilities," Senator Farley said.
