Senator Farley Seeks Participants For Home Safety Day On July 13th
State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C - Schenectady) is teaming up with the Hagaman Volunteer Fire Department to host a Home Safety Day on Sunday, July 13th, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the fire department, located at 126 South Pawling Street, Hagaman.
Any group or non-profit organization interested in hosting a table at the Home Safety Day can call Senator Farley’s Amsterdam District Office at 843-2188. The fire department’s Fire Prevention & Safety Trailer will be on display at this event. Local organizations handing out information that day will include American Red Cross, Child Health Plus, Experience Works, HFM Prevention and WIC (Women, Infants and Children).
This event is being held in conjunction with the fire department’s annual car and bike show. A time line of events includes:
* Car/Bike show and Home Safety vendor displays, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
* Awards starting at 3 p.m.
"My office has teamed up with the fire department for the past two years for this event," Senator Farley said. "We had so much fun and informed numerous people about fire safety, that I decided to team up with them again and continue the tradition."
This event will be held rain or shine.
