Bonacic Speaks At Ulster MHA’s Eating Disorders Coalition Conference
State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/I/C – Mount Hope) presented the opening remarks at Ulster County Mental Health Association’s Eating Disorders Coalition Conference held at the Holiday Inn, Kingston today. The Conference was entitled “Building Teams Better Treatment” and provided attendees with professional training on various Eating Disorders. Senator Bonacic provided the Coalition with State aid for its education and training program.
“It is estimated that only 1 in 10 individuals with an eating disorder ever receive treatment,” stated Senator Bonacic. “For that reason, I was pleased to secure State support for this important educational conference that will heighten awareness and hopefully, result in more people receiving the treatment they need.”
