Senator Serrano Welcomes The East Harlem Café To The Neighborhood

On Friday, October 3rd, Senator Serrano congratulated Michelle Cruz, an East Harlem native, for the grand opening of her brainchild, The East Harlem Café. 

The Café, which is located on the corner of 104th Street and Lexington Avenue will offer full service coffee and pastry services as well as serve as a place for artists and musicians to showcase their work.

"I have spent my entire legislative career supporting the arts," said Senator Serrano, who is the ranking member of the Tourism, Recreation and Sports Development Committee in the Senate. "Having an institution such as The East Harlem Café will do great things to foster the thriving arts scene we have in the community."
