Serrano Brings Constituent Services To 1199 Plaza
Senator Serrano and his Constituent Service Team visited residents of 1199 Plaza on the afternoon of July 1, 2008.
Senator Serrano, who represents one of the most diverse Senate districts in New York State, holds service hours at locations throughout Manhattan, Roosevelt Island and the Bronx for those constituents who lack easy access to the District Office on East 104th Street.
"At 1199, we have a large senior population and I realize how important it is for us to be on the ground," said the Senator, a member of the Senate Aging Committee. "I am here to learn more about the challenges that residents face, and provide all the support I can to overcome those challenges."
The Constituent Service Team will next be at Mitchel Houses in the South Bronx on Thursday, July 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Residents are advised to bring copies of any documents pertaining to the case they wish to discuss.
Walk-in constituent service hours in the District Office are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Senator's Office recommends you make an appointment prior to coming in. The office phone is (212) 828-5829.
