Serrano Continues Monthly Bronx Constituent Hours

José M. Serrano

Senator Serrano continued his monthly Bronx Constituent Hours this past Tuesday at the Highbridge Senior Center on Nelson Avenue.

"While we do a tremendous amount of work out of our district office in East Harlem, there is no substitute for direct interaction here in the Bronx with my constituents," said the Senator.

The Serrano Constituent Service Team travels to Roosevelt Island on the first Tuesday of every month, and the Bronx on the third Tuesday of every month. No appointments are necessary. Constituents should bring photocopies of any paperwork related to their case so that Serrano staff can effectively and efficiently address the issue.

"These are not easy times. Too many people in the 28th district are impacted by the housing crisis. This is not to mention employment, healthcare and other issues," said the Senator. "We will continue to do all that we can to help the most constituents possible, and a big part of this effort is making ourselves accessible throughout the district."

The next date for Bronx Constituent Service Hours is Tuesday, March 18th in the Sedgwick Branch Library, at 1701 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. at W. 176th Street. The next date for Roosevelt Island Constituent Service Hours is Tuesday, March 4th in the RIOC offices at 591 Main Street.
