Senator Parker Brings Dmv Services To The Block
Why Wait On line at the DMV?
Brooklyn, NY- - State Senator Kevin Parker partnered with the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles on Friday, July 25, 2008, to offer various DMV services to his constituents. Over ninety people pre-registered for the event and the immense turnout of pre-registered appointments and walk-ins proved that the event was much needed in the community.
"Sometimes the difference between handling your day to day business, such as DMV needs, is all about having access, said Senator Parker. Through the DMV's and my office's efforts, we eliminated the hassle and created a streamlined process for my constituents."
This successful event provided a myriad of services that helped individuals avoid an office visit altogether, saving both time and energy. Attendees sat at Learner's Permit exams, renewed licenses and photos, I.D. cards, as well as other DMV-related paperwork. Individuals also retrieved information and resources for future DMV services.
