Senator Golden Announces Halloween Walk And Fair

SENATOR MARTY GOLDEN ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR 2008 HALLOWEEN WALK & FAIR

Brooklyn- State Senator Marty Golden (R-C, Brooklyn) today announced plans for the 2008 Halloween Walk & Fair set for Friday, October 31, 2008 beginning at 3:30 p.m. at Owl’s Head Park, located at 68th Street and Colonial Road. Senator Golden was joined by event organizers, some in costumes, and some of the props and scenery purchased for the event.

The 14th Annual event will feature free of charge: The Haunted Walk, the Fairytale Forest, the Trick-Or-Treat Trail, the Pumpkin Patch, a costume contest, a magic show and much more. The event will also feature rides for the children, pony rides, wagon rides, face painting and "Dracula’s Food Court".

Senator Marty Golden stated, "The Haunted Halloween Walk and Fair has become a fun-filled event in our community that is a safe alternative to Trick-or-Treating. I always look forward to this special day full of fun, ghosts, goblins, tricks and treats. I am proud to be hosting the Halloween Walk again this year for the children and families of our neighborhood."

This year there will be a limited opportunity to purchase V.I.P. Passes for a small $5.00 donation until October 29, 2008, which will entitle 1 adult and up to 4 children to enter the Halloween Walk through the sponsors entrance.
