Senator Golden To Host Family Fun Day Event

Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C, 22nd District) today is announcing his plans to host "Family Day" on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. in McKinley Park located at 75th Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway in Brooklyn.

The event will feature music and entertainment, a wide variety of contests for children including face painting, rides, a watermelon eating contest, music, magicians and prizes. The event is being hosted in conjunction with Senator Golden’s Summer Concert Series, a summer long series of events hosted for the community to come out and enjoy the grand parkland throughout thecommunity.

Senator Marty Golden stated, "As we approach the end of the summer, and as our youngsters are preparing to return to school, what a better way to celebrate the great summer of 2008 than at "Family Day". I guarantee that all children will enjoy the event and have a great time."
