Senator Golden To Host Gerritsen Beach/marine Park Town Hall Meeting

SENATOR GOLDEN TO HOST GERRITSEN BEACH/MARINE PARK TOWN HALL MEETING

Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C, 22nd District) will be hosting a town hall meeting on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cort Club located at 2648 Gerritsen Avenue in Brooklyn.

Representatives of the 61st and 63rd Precincts of the New York City Police Department, as well as officials from the Brooklyn Parks Department, the NYC Fire Department and Verizon will be on hand to discuss current issues within the community and taking questions.

Senator Golden will be discussing legislation he is working on in the New York State Senate, including his recent efforts to ban teen drivers from using all portable electronic devices. Senator Golden will be discussing the graffiti removal program and will provide a listing of his 2008 Summer Concerts Series to those in attendance.
