Senator Golden Issues Statement On Student Slayings In Israel

STATEMENT BY SENATOR MARTY GOLDEN ON ATTACKS ON YOUNG STUDENTS IN ISRAEL

"Yesterday's slaughter of innocent young students in Israel another chilling reminder that schools across the United States and abroad have been and will continue to be targets of violence," said Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C, Brooklyn), Chairman of the Senate Majority Task Force on Critical Choices.

"Whether it's a seminary in Jerusalem, a high school in Columbine, or a college campus like Virginia Tech, there's no question that schools and students are often the targets of horrific acts of violence. As we pray for those lost in this ruthless attack, we also pledge to continue our fight to keep New York's schools safe, and provide security to Yeshivas and nonpublic schools."
