NYS Governor David A. Paterson To Attend Ministers Banquet

The Hon. David A. Paterson, Governor of the State of New York, the Hon. Eduardo Selman, General Consul of the Dominican Republic in N.Y., the Hon. Kenneth Liao, Ambassador for the Taipei Economic & Cultural Council, the Hon. Lorraine Cortes-Vasquez, NYS Secretary of State, and the Hon. Thomas DiNapoli, NYS Comptroller, are among the dignitaries that will be attending the Annual Banquet of the New York Hispanic Clergy Organization.

This year’s banquet will take place this Saturday, April 19th, 2008, from 1:00-5:00 pm, in Maestros Caterers located at 1703 Bronxdale Avenue in the Bronx. The event will honor five distinguished Ministers: Rev. Pura Salomon, Rev. Bartolo Martinez, Rev. Samuel Cruz, Rev. Temistocles Feliz and Rev. Gilberto Maldonado.

According to State Senator Rev. Ruben Diaz: “To have so many distinguished guests, governors, ambassadors, senators, assemblyman, and community leaders join close to one thousand (1000) members of the Hispanic, Evangelical clergy from around the City, for this and the past 18 years, gives me great pride and privilege to serve as President of an Organization that has earned the respect and support of such leaders”.
