Forums On Financial Planning And Literacy: Be Smart, Be Safe, And Save!

Thomas K. Duane

In July, Senator Duane will be hosting two forums on financial literacy to provide his constituents an opportunity to learn about being financially savvy in uncertain economic times.

The event will include presentations from the New York State Comptroller's Office, the New York State Attorney General's Office, and the Alliance for Financial Literacy followed by a Question and Answer session. They will discuss how to effectively budget, save, invest, and avoid fraudulent scams.

The first forum will be held on Thursday July 17 at 6:30pm at the Associated Musicians of Greater New York Local 802 at 322 West 48th Street. The second forum will be held on Thursday July 24 at 6:30pm at Beth Israel Medical Center's Phillips Ambulatory Care Center at 10 Union Sq East.
