SENATOR FUSCHILLO & ASSEMBLYMAN McDONOUGH HONOR EX-CHIEF RON MUNSON FOR 50 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE MERRICK FIRE DEPARTMENT

State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8^th Senate District) and Assemblyman David G. McDonough (19^th Assembly District) today honored Ex-Chief Ron Munson for his 50 years of service to the Merrick Fire Department.

“For the last 50 years, Ron Munson has selflessly donated his time and energy into serving the Merrick community as a volunteer firefighter. I am pleased to honor and thank him for his many years of dedicated service,” said Senator Fuschillo.

In recognition of Ex-Chief Munson’s 50 years of service, Senator Fuschillo sponsored a legislative resolution which was passed by the State Senate. With passage of the resolution, Ex-Chief Munson and his achievement will forever be part of the official record of the New York State Senate.
