SENATOR FUSCHILLO & DOT OFFICIALS VIEW PROGRESS OF WANTAGH PARKWAY BRIDGE REPAIRS

State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) today joined officials from the New York State Department of Transportation (DOT) in viewing the ongoing repairs to the Wantagh Parkway overpass over the Southern State Parkway.

The bridge was damaged when a vehicle struck the bridge’s side this past Saturday night.

DOT officials informed Senator Fuschillo about the progress of the repairs and assured him that the bridge is safe for motorists.
