SENATOR FUSCHILLO HONORED BY AMITYVILLE HISTORICAL SOCIETY

Charles J. Fuschillo Jr.

State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) was recently honored by the Amityville Historical Society for his efforts to help renovate and preserve the Lauder Museum. Senator Fuschillo and fellow honoree Assemblyman Robert Sweeney (11th Assembly District) both previously secured state funding to help offset the renovation costs.

The Lauder Museum, which is located in the heart of downtown Amityville, contains numerous exhibits and information about the Village’s history. This year marks the 100th Anniversary of the building that houses the Lauder Museum.
