SENATOR FUSCHILLO HONORED BY MADD LONG ISLAND

State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8^th Senate District) was recently honored by MADD-Long Island for his dedication and service to helping MADD achieve its mission of ending drunk driving, supporting victims, and preventing underage drinking.

Senator Fuschillo has authored several anti-drunk driving laws in New York State, including tougher penalties for drunk drivers who kill or injure others, those with a high blood alcohol content (BAC), and those who repeatedly commit DWI crimes. Senator Fuschillo is also sponsoring a proposed law that would create a mandatory ignition interlock program for all people convicted of DWI in New York State.
