Update on Home Town Football Teams

The PeeWee's returned to Nationals full throttle winning the first two games. Many of the players won a National tittle in 2008 as Jr PeeWee's.  They defeated the MLK Texans 24-6 in their first game of the week.  The next Stop Was the Scottsdale Firebirds,pulling out a 19-6 victory here landed the Hurricane PeeWee's in the National Tittle Game.  The Parkside Warriors jumped on the canes right out the gate, dressed in uniformes simular in color and style to the Canes, remembering last years pounding they took in a loss to the Hurricanes. They returned the favor this year defeating the PeeWee's 30-12.    Standouts for the PeeWee's  Triston Silver, Dawon Rivis, Devin Mitchell to name a few, The PeeWee's are the second best in the nation in their division, Not Bad.

The undefeated Midgets Returned to Florida for the third year in a row to win their second National Tittle in three years, (WOW). Led By Veteran QB Brandon Barnes And DL Camren Stapleton The Hurricanes had a Bye the first round of action.  well rested and prepared they defeated the elusive wing T offense of The Forest Park Black Hawks 19-6.  the hurricane D pitched an impressive shutout, the BlackHawks only score came from a fumble recovered and returned for a TD.  The National Tittle Game was evenly matched on both sides of the ball.  But the Hurricanes pulled out a breath taking,overtime shootout over the well coached Scottsdale FireBirds 32-24.  Steven Brown Scored the game winning TD to seal the victory.  Kareem Thomas was spactacular on both sides of the ball.  Compton Richardson and Camren Stapleton Anchored the DL with big plays in OT.
