Senator Serrano Celebrates Arts Programming in the Bronx at 52 Park

José M. Serrano

Senator Serrano celebrated with Lincoln Center and the The Big Three Palladium Orchestra at the 52 People for Progress at 52 Park concert in the Bronx. Senator Serrano as well as New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, spoke about the importance of accessible arts programming in the South Bronx. Over 500 people danced the night away to the sounds of the legendary Latin jazz ensemble led by Machito Jr. and Tito Rodriguez Jr.

With the support of Senator Serrano, Lincoln Center has expanded the LC in the BX series this year with free concerts and performances throughout the South Bronx, giving patrons and audiences a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the borough through art and music.
