Senate Honors Heroic Actions Of Pilot And Crew Of "Miracle" Flight 1549; Passenger Stuart Wallace To Accept Resolution

Today, the State Senate will adopt a resolution honoring Pilot Chesley B. Sullenberger III and the crew of US Airways Flight 1549 for the heroic actions and breathtaking skill they exhibited after engine failure forced a water landing in the Hudson River, just moments after taking off from Laguardia Airport. Due to their efforts, more than 150 passengers survived.

Passenger Stuart Wallace will be present to accept the resolution.
