Senate Majority Leader Smith Visits Binghamton, Discusses Economic Development With Area Leaders

State Senate Majority Leader Malcolm A. Smith and Senator David J. Valesky will visit the City of Binghamton on Wednesday to meet with local leaders and discuss economic development. It is the fourth Upstate city Senator Smith has visited since being elected as leader of the Senate earlier this month. Joining them are Binghamton Mayor Matthew Ryan, Broome County Executive Barbara Fiala, and Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo. Following their discussion, the elected officials will attend a reception with business and community leaders where there will be a media availability.
