Senator Golden to Host Easter Egg Hunts
Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden is today announcing that with the support of local community associations and sponsors, he will be hosting three Easter Egg Hunts.
Easter Egg Hunt-Saturday, April 4, 2009, 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
Marine Park, Fillmore Avenue at Marine Parkway
Easter Egg Hunt-Sunday, April 5, 2009, 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
Bensonhurst Park, Cropsey Avenue and Bay Parkway
Easter Egg Hunt- Saturday, April 11, 2009, 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
McKinley Park, 75th Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway
Senator Golden invites all community children to come and take part in what plans to be very special events. The Easter Egg hunt events will include music and prizes for the children. Over one thousand candy filled easter eggs will be hidden throughout the boundaries of the respective parks. Beyond searching for Easter Eggs, the event will feature races, face painting and entertainment provided by clowns.
The Marine Park Civic Association, the Community Emergency Response Team, the Brooklyn South Community Emergency Response Team, the Southwest Brooklyn Parks Task Force, the Third Avenue Merchants and others are supporters.
