Senator Golden to Host Women's History Month Awards Celebration
Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden recently hosted an event in conjunction with the national celebration of Women’s History Month.
Senator Golden honored Eddie Bellochino, Girl Scout Leader, St. Frances Cabrini, Sylvia LaCerra, Former Principal of P.S. 200 and member of Community Education Council
District 20, Alice Lee, Assistant Principal of Public School 105, Police Officer Susan Porcello, N.Y.P.D., 68th Precinct and Janice Yang, Asian Community Outreach Department at
Maimonides Medical Center.
Senator Marty Golden stated, "Each year the country marks the month of March with a celebration of Women's History Month, a time for our nation as a collection of communities to highlight and honor those women who have brought about change through their untiring efforts and to pay tribute to the women who have made a difference. I am proud to honor these outstanding women of our community and pay tribute to all they have accomplished."
