Senator Saland’s Seventeenth Annual Golden Gathering At Arlington High School

Senator Steve Saland (R,I,C Poughkeepsie) will hold his 17th Annual Golden Gathering on Saturday, September 13, 2008, at Arlington High School on Rt. 55 in Lagrangeville. The event will be held between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

 "The Golden Gathering is a wonderful opportunity for seniors to meet in a central location and have access to a large variety of useful information and services," said Senator Steve Saland. "I know that many seniors look forward to attending the Gathering and this year promises to be as informative and entertaining as years past."

 The Gathering will host approximately 100 exhibitors and include numerous health screenings such as hearing and glaucoma screening, anxiety and depression screening and blood pressure screening. Central Hudson Gas and Electric will offer a seminar on Energy Saving Tips and Strategies. Also featured will be an Ask-A-Lawyer clinic, and the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office will offer Senior Safety Net Iris Scans.

Entertainment will be provided by DJ Johnny Dell. There will be free refreshments and raffles for door prizes.
