Senator Saland’s Sixteenth Annual Golden Gathering At Arlington High School

Senator Steve Saland (R,I,C Poughkeepsie) will hold his 16th Annual Golden Gathering on Saturday, September 15, 2007, at Arlington High School on Rt. 55 in Lagrangeville. The event will be held between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

"The Golden Gathering is a wonderful opportunity for seniors to meet in a central location and have access to a large variety of useful information and services," said Senator Steve Saland. "I know that many seniors look forward to attending the Gathering and this year promises to be as informative and entertaining as years past."

The Gathering will host approximately 90 exhibitors and include free blood pressure, glaucoma and hearing screenings, as well as glucose screening. In addition, there will be golf posture and balance screening. A free Legal Clinic will be offered as well as a seminar on Energy Conservation in the Home sponsored by the Dutchess County Office for the Aging in conjunction with Cornell Cooperative Extension.

Live entertainment will again be provided by Johnny Dell. There will be refreshments and raffles for door prizes.
