The Federation of Mental Health Centers a New York State advocacy organization representing small to midsize community-based agencies providing professional clinic psychotherapy, CDT and other services recently honored New York State Senator Thomas P. Morahan, Ranking Member of the New York State Senate Committee on Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities for his legislative leadership "in creating a new structure of equitable funding...and expanded availability of quality clinic mental health care in New York State."
"Senator Morahan's wisdom and knowledge of state operations resulted in the most pivotal piece of legislation and led to Mental Health Clinic Rate Reform in the State of New York," said Federation President John Rossland.
