Area boy scouts hailed in Albany on scouting’s centennial

ALBANY — Boy Scouts from Warren County and the greater Glens Falls region were hailed and applauded Feb. 8 in the New York State Legislature as the boys represented scouts statewide on the day of the 100th anniversary of Boy Scouts of America.
A group of Boy Scouts and their leaders of the Twin Rivers Council — based in Glens Falls — visited both the state Assembly and state Senate Feb. 8 and were honored by the legislators.
