Editorial: APA board needs more balance

Another day. Another Adirondack Park Agency horror story.

First off, relax. This isn't another one of those, "Get rid of the APA" appeals. For the time being, at least, that seems like an impractical and unrealistic short-term goal.

What's not impractical or unrealistic is appointing a membership of the APA board that represents a greater balance between the concerns of environmentalists and those of property rights advocates and developmental interests.
