New firm celebrates downtown location

GLENS FALLS -- Billions of dollars of Internet-based "reverse auction" transactions are now being handled at the new Aeon Nexus corporate headquarters in downtown Glens Falls, bringing significant cost savings for government agencies, municipalities and school districts.

"We've run fuel auctions saving Connecticut state schools over 60 cents a gallon in the past year. That's millions of dollars that they're putting back in to the school districts and back in to their school districts," said Omar Usmani, a principal in the information company that recently located from Washington, D.C.
