ADDABBO TO HOLD MOBILE OFFICE HOURS ON TWO SATURDAYS IN MAY
Constituents Invited to Howard Beach Library & Peter Cardella Senior Center
Queens, NY, April 20, 2010 – To meet more of his district’s constituents and to hear about the issues that concern them, NYS Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr., will hold office hours on two Saturdays in May. Senator Addabbo is set to visit Queens Library at Howard Beach, 92-06 156 Avenue, 718-641-7086, on Saturday, May 1, from 11 AM to 1 PM. On the following Saturday, May 8, from 11 AM to 1 PM, the Senator will discuss residents’ concerns at the Peter Cardella Senior Center, 68-52 Fresh Pond Road, Ridgewood; 718-497-2908.
Addabbo noted, “Many of my constituents might be unable to visit my district office Monday through Friday. The time I am spending at mobile office hours around the district gives them an opportunity to see me in their own communities on the weekend and for me to personally address their concerns. I will also be speaking about how important library funding is from the city and the state in providing weekend service at local libraries and how critical it is to return the completed 2010 Census form, which translates into more funding for vital services needed in our communities.”
The Senator also noted that his northern satellite office in Middle Village is on schedule to open by the middle of May.
For more information on the mobile office hours or the opening of Senator Addabbo’s new office, call his district office in Howard Beach at 718-738-1111.
