New Hi-Tech Facility to Advance Superconducting Radio-Frequency (SRF) Technology

Officials from several levels of government and principals from Advanced Energy Systems, Inc. (AES) and Brookhaven Lab gathered at AES headquarters in Medford on Friday to celebrate a new partnership that will lead to advanced technology in superconducting materials. Attending were, from left, Brookhaven Town Supervisor Mark Lesko, U.S. Congressman Tim Bishop, BNL Project Leader Ilan Ben-Zvi, Lab Director Samuel Aronson, Empire State Development Corporation Director Andrea Lohneiss, AES President/CEO Tony Favale, State Senator Kenneth P. LaValle, and State Assemblyman Marc S. Alessi.
