Little: Prisons could fare better under latest budget plan

Upstate communities with prisons may fare better under a closure plan administered by the governor than by a task force, state Sen. Elizabeth Little, R-Queensbury, said on Monday.
"So this way we have a little more flexibility and a little more input," said Little, who represents a Senate district with 10 state prisons.
