ANSWERS TO “LIRR RIDERS SPEAK OUT”

The LIRR is a vital part of Long Island’s transportation infrastructure. Thousands of local residents ride the trains to and from work every day, and it is important for the LIRR to know how people feel about the service they receive and how it can be improved.

I recently had a survey were I asked you,  if you had one question to ask Mr. Walder, Chairman & CEO of the MTA, what would it be?  You responded with some very interesting questions and concerns.

In the attached pdf are the answers that I received from Helena Williams, President of the LIRR on behalf of the Chairman Walder. Although they did not answer every individual question, they did answer many of the general categories.
