One of the cornerstones of this year's New York State budget was the creation of 10 Regional Economic Development Councils that have been working over the past several months to develop locally based, short- and long-term strategies for economic growth and job creation.

The 10 regional blueprints, including plans for the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes regions, have now been finalized and submitted.

You can review all of the 10 regional plans here.

Representatives of New York's 10 Regional Economic Development Councils will formally present their plans before the Strategic Plan Review Committee during the week of November 28, 2011 in Albany.

The Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council meets on Monday, November 28th, at 3:30 p.m.

The Southern Tier Regional Economic Development Council is scheduled for Tuesday, November 29th at 9:00 a.m.
