Senator O'Mara named 'Eco-Star' by New York League of Conservation Voters

This week the New York League of Conservation Voters (NYLCV) named eight state lawmakers, including Senator O'Mara, as 2011 "Eco-Stars" for their "efforts to make New York State stronger, healthier and greener."

Senator O'Mara was specifically recognized for "actively working to save New York’s working farms by authoring legislation that identifies new revenue streams for farmland conservation."
