9/11 Memorial Ceremony

All of us who lived through September 11th will remember that day with clarity. We always will remember whom we lost, and the anger, the shock and devastation we felt. It is difficult to believe that 12 years have passed.

It is with pleasure that I invite you to join me and your neighbors in a tribute to the families and the memory of the victims of this national tragedy. The memorial ceremony will be held Wednesday, September 11th and at 7 pm at the September 11th Memorial, Western Waterfront, West End Avenue, Oyster Bay.

Joining me will be the Atlantic Steamer Fire Department, members of the clergy, the Oyster Bay Community Band and John Delaney playing the Bag Pipes. A reception will follow at the Atlantic Steamer Fire Co #1 Marine Rescue Facility courtesy of Gooseberry Grove.
