Senator Farley Announces New Ballston Spa District Office Open

State Senator Hugh T. Farley has established a new District Office in downtown Ballston Spa, which is open for business.

It is located at 199 Milton Avenue (Route 50), near the corner of Ford Street and Milton Avenue. The telephone number is (518) 885-1829.

"I am pleased to open a new office in this beautiful and historic small village which serves as the county seat for Saratoga," said Senator Farley.  "With the new Senate lines, my district has shifted and I now represent about 60% of Saratoga by territory and 47% by population." 

The Saratoga County towns of Clifton Park, Malta and Milton are new to Senator Farley's district; he also continues to represent the towns of Ballston, Charlton, Corinth, Day, Edinburg, Galway, Hadley, Providence and portions of the city of Saratoga Springs.

The geographic size of Senator Farley's 49th Senate district has more than doubled with the addition of all of Hamilton County and the Herkimer County towns of Fairfield, Manheim, Ohio, Russia, Salisbury and Webb. He still represents all of Fulton County. In Schenectady County, he represents the towns of Glenville, Niskayuna, and most of the City of Schenectady.

"Because I no longer represent Montgomery County, I have closed my office in the Riverfront Center in Amsterdam," Senator Farley explained. "While I am sad to say good-bye to my Montgomery County friends, I look forward to being in Ballston Spa and meeting new friends and constituents."
